Itinerary:
07.00 AM – Pick up tourists from various points.
07.30 AM – Departure from Bangkok to Ayutthaya or Ancient City (1.30 hrs).
09.00 AM – Visit Wat Phukhao Thong. This temple is located outside the city of Ayutthaya. It was built by U-Thong in 1357 for meditation. In 1592, when King Naresuan defeated the Burmese crown prince, he commanded a large pagoda built at this temple to match the height pagoda.
09.45 AM – Arrive at Ayutthaya or Ancient City (the second capital of Thailand). Visit the Ancient Palace and Wat Phra Si Sanphet, which was the capital for 417 years. Afterward, visit Wat Phra Mongkol Bopit, one of the largest bronze Buddha images in Thailand.
12.00 PM – Lunch at the restaurant. Thai food will be served.
13.00 PM – Visit Wat Lokayasutha, the image of the Reclining Buddha.
14.00 PM – Visit Wat Phra Mahathat. This temple is located in front of the Grand Palace. The construction was begun during the reign of King Borom Rachathirat I in 1374 A.D.
15.00 PM – Return from Ayutthaya.
16.30 PM – Arrive in Bangkok.
