Itinerary
07.00: Pick up from your meeting point in Bangkok and depart for Maeklong Railway Market, one of the most unique markets in Thailand.
08.30: Arrive at the train market. Enjoy leisure time walking around and experiencing the excitement as the train passes directly through the market, while vendors quickly move their goods away from the tracks.
09.45: Continue to Damnoensaduak Floating Market. Spend about 1 hour exploring the lively canals, where you can walk around or take an optional paddle boat (150 THB) for a closer view of the vendors selling fresh fruits, snacks, and local products. Afterwards, take a long-tail boat ride to see traditional village life along the canal.
11.00: Depart for Ayutthaya, the former capital of Siam. A lunch box will be provided on the way.
02.00: Explore Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit some of the city’s most famous temples, including:
Wat Chaiwatthanaram – the iconic riverside temple in Khmer style
Wat Phra Si Sanphet & Viharn Phra Mongkol Borphit – once the royal temple of Ayutthaya
Wat Mahathat – home to the world-famous Buddha head entwined in tree roots
Wat Yai Chai Mongkol – known for its towering chedi and rows of serene Buddha statues
04.30: Depart from Ayutthaya and return to Bangkok.
06.30: Arrive in Bangkok with drop-off at Khao San Road or Sam Yot Station.
